Rear Compartment Floor Panel Carpet Replacement (Side Wagon)

Removal Procedure




1. Remove the cargo shade.
2. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement (Rear Seat Cushion Replacement)
3. Lower the rear seat back assembly.




4. Gently pull at the attaching clip locations and remove the cargo shade side molding.




5. Remove the seat back side bolster. Refer to Rear Split Folding Seat Back Bolster Replacement (Rear Split Folding Seat Back Bolster Replacement).
6. Remove the rear compartment floor.




7. Remove the cargo net fasteners, if equipped.




8. Gently pull at the clip locations and remove the rear cargo area side carpet.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the rear cargo area side carpet to the vehicle with the integral clips making sure that the carpet is slid under the liftgate lower molding.





Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

2. Install cargo net fasteners.

Tighten the cargo net fasteners to 2.5 Nm (22 lb in).




3. Install the rear seat back bolster. Refer to Rear Split Folding Seat Back Bolster Replacement (Rear Split Folding Seat Back Bolster Replacement).
4. Install the rear compartment floor.




5. Install the cargo shade side molding by pushing at the clip locations.




6. Install the cargo shade.
7. Raise the rear seat back assembly.
8. Install the liftgate weatherstrip over the side carpet using a flat-blade tool.
9. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement (Rear Seat Cushion Replacement)
