Diagnostic Instructions

- Key Stuck




Circuit/System Description

The radio monitors each of the buttons located on the radio face during normal operation.


Conditions for Running the DTC

Ignition ON.


Conditions for Setting the DTC

The radio detects that a button on the radio is stuck.


Action Taken When the DTC Sets

Operations from the stuck button will be ignored.


Conditions for Clearing the DTC

* A current DTC will clear when the radio detects that the button is no longer stuck.
* A history DTC will clear after 100 malfunction free ignition cycles.

Circuit/System Verification

Ignition ON, verify DTC B1023 is not set.

If the DTC is set, replace the radio.
