Coolant Heater Cord Replacement

Coolant Heater Cord Replacement (LZ4 - Gas, 6 Cyl, 3.5L, SFI, V6, Offset Bore)

Removal Procedure





1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle (Service Intervals).
2. Disconnect the engine coolant heater cord (1) from the engine coolant heater.
3. Lower the vehicle.




4. Remove the coolant heater cord clip from the transaxle bracket.




5. Remove the coolant heater cord from the shock tower and the battery tray.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the coolant heater cord between the shock tower and the battery tray.




2. Install the coolant heater cord clip to the transaxle bracket.




3. Raise and support the vehicle.
4. Connect the engine coolant heater cord (1) to the engine coolant heater.
5. Lower the vehicle.
