Sunroof Housing Front Drain Hose Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Lower the molded headlining. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (Sedan) (Service and Repair)Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (With Sunroof) (Service and Repair)Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (Coupe) (Service and Repair).




2. Loosen the wing protective paneling inner.

1. Remove the 2 bolts (1).
2. Remove the 8 body-bound rivets (arrows).





Note: For better guidance with the installation, the water drain hose is to be provided with a cord.

3. Remove the water drain hose front.

1. Remove the water drain hose from sunroof.
2. Remove the water drain hose from the A-pillar bottom.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the water drain hose front.

1. Connect the water drain hose with cord.
2. Draw in water drain hose in A-column carefully with the help of the cord.
3. Remove the cord and install the water drain hose to the sunroof.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution (Fastener Caution).

2. Install the wing protective paneling inner.
Install the 8 body-bound rivets.

Tighten the 2 wheelhouse liner bolts to 2.5 Nm (22 lb in).

3. Install the molded headlining. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (Sedan) (Service and Repair)Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (With Sunroof) (Service and Repair)Headlining Trim Panel Replacement (Coupe) (Service and Repair).
