DESCRIPTION

* The running light relay assembly receives the following signals:

* Light control switch TAIL or HEAD signal

* Dimmer switch HIGH or HIGH FLASH (PASS) signal

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Inspect the headlight dimmer switch assembly Testing and Inspection.

OK:

Headlight dimmer switch assembly is normal.

NG -- REPLACE HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH ASSEMBLY Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.

2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH - RUNNING LIGHT RELAY ASSEMBLY)

(a) Disconnect the C11 headlight dimmer switch assembly connector.

(b) Disconnect the C52 running light relay assembly connectors.

(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE Symptom Related Diagnostic Procedures
