BA: DTC P0720 - OUTPUT SPEED SENSOR (VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR 2 CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION

DTC DETECTING CONDITION:
- Two consecutive driving cycles with fault

TROUBLE SYMPTOM:
- No shift or excessive tight corner "braking"

CAUTION: After repair or replacement of faulty parts, conduct CLEAR MEMORY MODE and INSPECTION MODE. Refer to How to Clear Diagnostic Trouble Codes. Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

CHECK: Does the Subaru Select Monitor or OBD-II general scan tool indicate DTC P0720?

YES: Check vehicle speed sensor 2 circuit. [1][2]DTC 33

NO: It is not necessary to inspect DTC P0720.
