DTC P0734 - GEAR 4 INCORRECT RATIODTC DETECTING CONDITION:
- Two consecutive driving cycles with fault
TROUBLE SYMPTOM:
- Shift point too high or too low; engine brake not effected in "3" range; excessive shift shock; excessive tight corner "braking"
CAUTION: After repair or replacement of faulty parts, conduct CLEAR MEMORY MODE and INSPECTION MODE. Refer to How to Clear Diagnostic Trouble Codes. Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes
WIRING DIAGRAM
10BF1: CHECK ANY OTHER DTC ON DISPLAY.
CHECK: Is there any other DTC on display?
YES: Inspect relevant DTC using "10. Diagnostics Chart with Trouble Code".
NO: Go to step 10BF2.
10BF2: CHECK THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR CIRCUIT.
Check throttle position sensor circuit.
CHECK: Is there any trouble in throttle position sensor circuit?
YES: Repair or replace throttle position sensor circuit.
NO: Go to step 10BF3.
10BF3: CHECK VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR 2 CIRCUIT.
Check vehicle speed sensor 2 circuit.
CHECK: Is there any trouble in vehicle speed sensor 2 circuit?
YES: Repair or replace vehicle speed sensor 2 circuit.
NO: Go to step 10BF4.
10BF4: CHECK TORQUE CONVERTER TURBINE SPEED SENSOR CIRCUIT.
Check torque converter turbine speed sensor circuit.
CHECK: Is there any trouble in torque converter turbine speed sensor circuit?
YES: Repair or replace torque converter turbine speed sensor circuit.
NO: Go to step 10BF5.
10BF5: CHECK POOR CONTACT.
Check poor contact in TCM connector.
CHECK: Is there poor contact in TCM connector?
YES: Repair poor contact in TCM connector.
NO: Go to step 10BF6.
10BF6: CHECK MECHANICAL TROUBLE.
Check mechanical trouble in automatic transmission.
CHECK: Is there any mechanical trouble in automatic transmission?
YES: Repair or replace automatic transmission.
NO: Replace TCM.
