CC: DTC P1151 - REAR OXYGEN SENSOR HEATER CIRCUIT HIGH INPUTDTC DETECTING CONDITION:
- Two consecutive driving cycles with fault
CAUTION: After repair or replacement of faulty parts, conduct CLEAR MEMORY MODE and INSPECTION MODE. Refer to How to Clear Diagnostic Trouble Codes. Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes
WIRING DIAGRAM
10CC1: CHECK INPUT SIGNAL FOR ECM.
Connector & Terminal No.21 (+) - Chassis Ground (-):
Measure voltage between ECM connector and chassis ground.
CHECK: Is the voltage more than 8 V?
YES: Go to step 10CC2.
NO: Go to step 10CC3.
10CC2: CHECK CURRENT DATA.
1. Turn ignition switch to OFF.
2. Repair battery short circuit in harness between ECM and front oxygen sensor connector.
3. Connect Subaru Select Monitor or the OBD-II general scan tool to data link connector.
4. Turn ignition switch to ON and Subaru Select Monitor or OBD-II general scan tool switch to ON.
5. Read data of rear oxygen sensor heater current using Subaru Select Monitor or the OBD-II general scan tool.
NOTE:
- Subaru Select Monitor

CHECK: Is the value more than 7 A?
YES: Replace ECM.
NO: END
10CC3: CHECK POOR CONTACT.
Check poor contact in ECM connector.
CHECK: Is there poor contact in ECM connector?
YES: Repair poor contact in ECM connector.
NO: END.
