DTC DETECTING CONDITION:
- Two consecutive driving cycles with fault

10DA1: CHECK DTC P1704 ON DISPLAY.

CHECK: Does the Subaru Select Monitor or OBD-II general scan tool indicate DTC P1704?

YES: Check 2-4 brake timing control solenoid valve circuit.

NO: It is not necessary to inspect DTC P1704.
