DTC P2008 INTAKE MANIFOLD RUNNER CONTROL CIRCUIT / OPEN (BANK 1)

1. OUTLINE OF DIAGNOSIS
Detect the malfunction of tumble generator valve motor function.

Judge close fixing malfunction when the opening degree is small even after finishing the tumble generator valve open driving.

Always perform the diagnosis continuously.

5. DIAGNOSTIC METHOD

Abnormality Judgement
At the main IC, check the sent signal at each timing which occurs just before the tumble generator valve output is set to ON -> OFF, and judge open NG when the open NG signal is sent 96 ms x 20 time(s) in a row.






Time Needed for Diagnosis: 96 ms x 20 time(s)

Malfunction Indicator Light Illumination: Illuminates as soon as a malfunction occurs.

Normality Judgement
Judge as OK and clear the NG when the OK signal is sent.






Time Needed for Diagnosis: Less than 1 second
