DTC Detecting Condition and Trouble Area
WARNING:
- When performing a road test, select a place where there is no traffic or possibility of a traffic accident and be very careful during testing to avoid occurrence of an accident.
- Road test should be carried out by 2 persons, a driver and a tester, on a level road.
P0116
NOTE: If DTC other than aimed DTC are previously detected in DTC confirmation procedure, be sure to troubleshoot DTC previously detected.
1. Run engine at idle speed for 10 min.
2. Drive vehicle at 40 km/h (25 mile/h) for more than 10 min.
P011B
NOTE: If DTC other than aimed DTC are previously detected in DTC confirmation procedure, be sure to troubleshoot DTC previously detected.
1. Run engine at idle speed for 5 min.
2. Drive vehicle at 56 km/h (35 mile/h) or more for more than 10 min.
3. Ignition switch to OFF position and keep it for 5 hours.
4. Ignition switch to ON position. ECT should be lower than 50 °C (122 °F) at this time.

NOTE:
- If DTC other than aimed DTC are previously detected in DTC confirmation procedure, be sure to troubleshoot DTC previously detected.
- Make sure that the following conditions are satisfied when using this procedure.
- -12 °C (54 °F) < IAT < 70 °C (158 °F)
- ECT at engine starting < 70.5 °C (159 °F)
1. Start engine.
2. Drive vehicle at 56 km/h (35 mile/h) or more for 10 min. or more.
