DTC Confirmation Procedure

NOTE:
- If DTC other than aimed DTC are previously detected in DTC confirmation procedure, be sure to troubleshoot DTC previously detected.
- Make sure that the following conditions are satisfied when using this procedure.
- Battery voltage > 10 V

1. Run engine at idle speed for 1 min.

NOTE:
- Other than Mexican specification:
Make sure that the following conditions are satisfied when using this procedure.
- 10.5 V < Battery voltage < 18.1 V
- 15% < Fuel level < 85%
- 3.8 °C (39 °F) < ECT at engine started < 35.3 °C (96 °F)
- 1.5 °C (35 °F) < Ambient temperature < 32.3 °C (90 °F)
- ECT - IAT < 9 °C (16 °F)
- Ignition switch to OFF position and keep it for 5 hours.
- BARO > 68 kPa (510 mmHg, 20.1 inHg, 0.68 bar) (Altitude: lower than 3,200 m (10,499 ft))

- Mexican specification:
Make sure that the following conditions are satisfied when using this procedure.
- 10.5 V < Battery voltage < 18.1 V
- 25% < Fuel level < 85%
- 3.8 °C (39 °F) < ECT at engine started < 35.3 °C (96 °F)
- 1.5 °C (35 °F) < Ambient temperature < 32.3 °C (90 °F)
- ECT - IAT < 9 °C (16 °F)
- Ignition switch to OFF position and keep it for 5 hours.
- BARO > 73 kPa (548 mmHg, 21.6 inHg, 0.73 bar) (Altitude: lower than 2700 m (8858 ft))

1. Start engine and drive vehicle at 56 km/h (35 mile/h) for more than 5 min. warm up to normal operating temperature.
2. Run engine at idle speed for 5 min.
