1. CONFIRM SYMPTOM

Confirm symptom or customer complaint.


GO TO 2

2. CHECK SELF-DIAGNOSIS OPERATION OF COMBINATION METER

Perform self-diagnosis of combination meter. Refer to [Meter Diagnosis Description] Meter Diagnosis Description.

Does self-diagnosis mode operate?
YES
GO TO 3
NO
Check power supply and ground circuit of combination meter. Refer to [Power Supply and Ground Circuit Check [Combination Meter] Component Tests and General Diagnostics ]. Then, GO TO 4

3. CHECK COMBINATION METER (SDT)

Select "METER/M&A" on SDT and perform "DTC check" of combination meter. Refer to [SDT Function (METER/M&A)] SDT Function (Meter/M&A).

"DTC check" results content
No malfunction detected
Repair or replace the cause of symptom. Then, GO TO 4
Malfunction detected
Refer to [DTC Index: Combination Meter] DTC Index Combination Meter. Then, GO TO 4

Does the combination meter operate normally?

YES or NO
