Headlamp Alignment Control Module: Testing and Inspection
Inspection of Headlight Auto Leveling Control Module and Its Circuit (with Headlight Auto Leveling System)
Headlight auto leveling control module and its circuits can be checked at connector terminal of headlight auto leveling control module by measuring voltage and pulse signal.
NOTE:
If you connect a voltmeter or an ohmmeter directly to the auto leveling control module by disconnecting the auto leveling control module connector, you can damage the auto leveling control module.
Never connect a voltmeter or an ohmmeter directly to any terminal on the auto leveling control module by disconnecting the auto leveling control module connector.
Voltage Check
Check voltage between each terminal of headlight auto leveling control module and vehicle body ground under each condition. If measured voltage is out of specification, check circuit (including switch and sensor) of terminal where voltage was measured.
NOTE:
As each terminal voltage is affected by the battery voltage, confirm that it is 11 V or more when ignition switch is ON.
