This check is important for troubleshooting when TCM has detected no DTC and no abnormality has been noted in visual inspection. Follow the flow carefully.

Was "A/T System Check" preformed?
YES -
Go to Step 2.
NO -
Go to A/T System Check A/T System Check.
2. Road test
Perform road test. Road Test
Is it OK?
YES -
Go to Step 3.
NO -
Repair or replace defective part.
3. Manual road test
Perform manual road test. Manual Road Test
Is it OK?
YES -
Go to Step 4.
NO -
Repair or replace defective part.
4. Engine brake test
Perform engine brake test. Engine Brake Test
Is it OK?
YES -
Go to Step 5.
NO -
Repair or replace defective part.
5. Stall test
Perform stall test. Stall Test
Is it OK?
YES -
Go to Step 6.
NO -
Repair or replace defective part.
6. Time lag test
Perform time lag test. Time Lag Test
Is it OK?
YES -
Go to Step 7.
NO -
Repair or replace defective part.
7. Line pressure test
Perform line pressure test. Component Tests and General Diagnostics
Is it OK?
YES -
Go to Step 8.
NO -
Repair or replace defective part.
8. Proceed to "Trouble Diagnosis 1" in A/T Symptom Diagnosis A/T Symptom Diagnosis.
Is trouble identified?
YES -
Repair or replace faulty parts.
NO -
Go to Step 9.
9. Proceed to "Trouble Diagnosis 2" in A/T Symptom Diagnosis A/T Symptom Diagnosis.
Is trouble identified?
YES -
Repair or replace faulty parts.
NO -
Proceed to "Trouble Diagnosis 3" in A/T Symptom Diagnosis A/T Symptom Diagnosis.
