ABS (Antilock Brake System)

C0278/11 - Always ON:

NOTE: Before replacing or removing parts, turn the ignition switch OFF.

HINT:
- Using SST 09643-18040, connect the terminals Tc and CG of the DLC3.
- If any abnormalities are not found when inspecting parts, inspect the ECU.
- If a malfunction code is displayed during the DTC check, check the circuit listed by a code. For details of each code, refer to the respective "DTC No." under "Trouble Code Diagnostic Procedures". C Code Charts

1. Drive the vehicle at 20 km/h (12 mph) for 30 seconds or more and check that the ABS warning light goes off.
2. Clear the DTC.

HINT: There is a case that TOYOTA hand-held tester cannot be used when the ABS warning light is always ON.
