DTC U0001 - High Speed CAN Communication Circuit

DESCRIPTION

There are two primary control roles for the hybrid vehicle control ECU. One role is engine control, the other role is hybrid system control. In the hybrid vehicle control ECU, there is a section equivalent to the ECM which is responsible for engine control, and a section referred to as the hybrid vehicle control ECU that is responsible for hybrid system control. These two exchange signals using CAN communication.
If there is a problem with this communication, a DTC is set.

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK ANY OTHER DTCS OUTPUT (IN ADDITION TO DTC U0001)
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the power switch on (IG).
(c) Turn the Techstream on.
(d) Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Engine and ECT / Trouble Codes.
(e) Read the DTCs.
