Air Conditioning System (for Automatic Air Conditioning System)
AIR CONDITIONING: AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM (for Automatic Air Conditioning System): TERMINALS OF ECU
TERMINALS OF ECU
1. CHECK AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER
(a) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
HINT: Check from the rear of the connector while it is connected to the air conditioning amplifier.
(b) Using an oscilloscope, check waveform 1.
HINT: When the blower level is increased, the duty ratio changes accordingly.
(c) Using an oscilloscope, check waveform 2.
HINT: The waveform varies depending on the CAN communication signal.
(d) Using an oscilloscope, check waveform 3.
HINT: The waveform varies depending on the CAN communication signal.
*: for Rear Automatic Air Conditioning
2. HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU
HINT: Check from the rear of the connector while it is connected to the hybrid vehicle control ECU.
(a) Using an oscilloscope, check waveform 1.
(1) Measure the waveform between terminal CLK (B2-14) of the hybrid vehicle control ECU and body ground.
OK:
Waveform appears as shown in the illustration.
HINT: Waveform cycle varies with the communication contents.
(b) Using an oscilloscope, check waveform 2.
(1) Measure the waveform between terminal ITE (B2-15) of the hybrid vehicle control ECU and body ground.
OK:
Waveform appears as shown in the illustration.
HINT: Waveform cycle varies with the communication contents.
(c) Using an oscilloscope, check waveform 3.
(1) Measure the waveform between terminal CLK (B2-16) of the hybrid vehicle control ECU and body ground.
OK:
Waveform appears as shown in the illustration.
HINT: Waveform cycle varies with the communication contents.
3. CHECK FRONT AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL
(a) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
4. CHECK REAR AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL (for Rear Air Conditioning)
(a) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
