Installation

3MZ-FE INTAKE: AIR CLEANER AND HOSE: INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL NO. 1 VENTILATION HOSE
(a) Connect the No. 1 ventilation hose to the No. 1 air cleaner hose.
2. INSTALL NO. 2 AIR CLEANER HOSE

(a) Tighten the hose clamp to install the No. 2 air cleaner hose.
3. INSTALL NO. 2 INTAKE AIR RESONATOR

(a) Tighten the hose clamp to install the No. 2 intake air resonator.
4. INSTALL INTAKE AIR RESONATOR

(a) Tighten the hose clamp to install the intake air resonator.
5. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CASE

(a) Tighten the hose clamp to install the air cleaner case.
6. INSTALL NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET

(a) Tighten the hose clamp to install the No. 1 air cleaner inlet.
7. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Align the tab on the throttle body with the groove on the air cleaner hose and tighten the hose clamp.

(b) Install the air cleaner case sub-assembly with the 5 bolts.
Torque: 5.0 Nm (51 kgf-cm, 44 in-lbf)

(e) Connect the No. 1 ventilation hose.
8. INSTALL AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Install the air cleaner filter element to the air cleaner case sub-assembly.

(b) Install the air cleaner cap sub-assembly with the 4 clamps and 2 bolts.
Torque: 7.0 Nm (71 kgf-cm, 62 in-lbf)

10. INSTALL COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Installation

11. INSTALL OUTER COWL TOP PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

12. INSTALL WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY

13. INSTALL COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

14. INSTALL HOOD TO COWL TOP SEAL

15. INSTALL FRONT WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY RH

16. INSTALL FRONT WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY LH
