3MZ-FE INTAKE: AIR CLEANER AND HOSE: REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE FRONT WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY LH

2. REMOVE FRONT WIPER ARM AND BLADE ASSEMBLY RH

3. REMOVE HOOD TO COWL TOP SEAL

4. REMOVE COWL TOP VENTILATOR LOUVER SUB-ASSEMBLY

5. REMOVE WINDSHIELD WIPER MOTOR AND LINK ASSEMBLY

6. REMOVE OUTER COWL TOP PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY

7. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Removal

8. REMOVE NO. 2 ENGINE ROOM SIDE COVER LH Removal

9. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP SUB-ASSEMBLY






(a) Remove the 2 bolts, 4 clamps and air cleaner cap sub-assembly.
(b) Remove the air cleaner filter element from the air cleaner case sub-assembly.
10. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY






(a) Separate the No. 1 ventilation hose.






(b) Disconnect the intake air flow meter connector.
(c) Disconnect the 2 wire harness clamps from the air cleaner case sub-assembly.






(d) Remove the 5 bolts from the air cleaner case sub-assembly.






(e) Loosen the hose clamp, and separate the No. 1 air cleaner hose.
(f) Remove the air cleaner case sub-assembly.
11. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER INLET






(a) Loosen the hose clamp and remove the No. 1 air cleaner inlet.
12. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE






(a) Loosen the hose clamp and remove the air cleaner case.
13. REMOVE INTAKE AIR RESONATOR






(a) Loosen the hose clamp and remove the intake air resonator.
14. REMOVE NO. 2 INTAKE AIR RESONATOR






(a) Loosen the hose clamp and remove the No. 2 intake air resonator.
15. REMOVE NO. 2 AIR CLEANER HOSE






(a) Loosen the hose clamp and remove the No. 2 air cleaner hose.
16. REMOVE NO. 1 VENTILATION HOSE






(a) Disconnect the No. 1 ventilation hose from the No. 1 air cleaner hose.
