DTC B1242 - Wireless Door Lock Tuner Circuit Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

When a RDA signal is not input to the door control receiver within 1 second after the multiplex network body ECU outputs a PRG signal, this DTC is set.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DOOR CONTROL RECEIVER - MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU)





(a) Disconnect the D4 receiver connector.
(b) Disconnect the B9 ECU connector.
(c) Check the resistance between the wire harness side connectors.
Standard resistance:





(d) Check the voltage and resistance between the D4 receiver connector or B9 ECU connector and the body ground.
Standard:






NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK DOOR CONTROL RECEIVER
(a) Check that the DTC is not output.
OK -- REPLACE DOOR CONTROL RECEIVER (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU)
NG -- REPLACE MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU
