Reading and Clearing Diagnostic Trouble Codes

DTC CHECK / CLEAR

1. CHECK DTC
(a) Prepare Techstream.
(b) Connect Techstream to DLC3.
(c) Turn the ignition switch to the ON position and turn Techstream main switch ON.
(d) Use Techstream to check the DTCs, and note them down (For operating instructions, see Techstream's instruction book.).
(e) Refer to DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE CHART to confirm the details of the DTCs.
2. CLEAR DTC
(a) DTC will be cleared when the malfunction output to DTC is recovered normally.
