Removal








INTERIOR: ROOF HEADLINING (for Access Cab):

REMOVAL

CAUTION: Some of these service operations affect the SRS airbag system. Read the precautionary notices concerning the SRS airbag system before servicing (Service Precautions).

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
Wait for at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent the airbag from working.
2. REMOVE INNER REAR VIEW MIRROR ASSEMBLY (w/ EC Mirror) ()

3. REMOVE FRONT FLOOR FOOTREST (Removal)

4. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH





(a) Disengage the 9 claws and clip, and remove the front door scuff plate.
5. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

HINT: Follow the same procedures as for the front door scuff plate LH.

6. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH





(a) Remove the clip.
(b) Disengage the 2 clips and remove the cowl side trim board.
7. REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH

HINT: Follow the same procedures as for the cowl side trim board LH.

8. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH





(a) Disengage the 7 claws and remove the rear door scuff plate.
9. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH

HINT: Follow the same procedures as for the rear door scuff plate LH.





10. REMOVE ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH COVER LH

HINT: Follow the same procedures as for the opposite side.

(a) Using a screwdriver with its tip taped in protective tape, disengage the 2 claws and remove the roof side inner garnish cover.
11. REMOVE ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH COVER RH

HINT: Follow the same procedures as for the roof side inner garnish cover LH.

12. REMOVE ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH CAP LH





(a) Using a "Torx" socket wrench T30, remove the 2 screws.
(b) Disengage the 4 claws and remove the roof side inner garnish cap.
13. REMOVE ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH CAP RH

HINT: Follow the same procedures as for the roof side inner garnish cap LH.

14. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH





(a) Remove the front door opening trim weatherstrip.
15. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH

HINT: Follow the same procedures as for the front door opening trim weatherstrip LH.

16. REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH





(a) Using a screwdriver with its tip taped in protective tape, disengage the 2 claws and remove the assist grip plug.

HINT: Follow the same procedures as for the opposite side.





(b) Remove the 2 screws.
(c) Disengage the claw and clip, and remove the front pillar garnish.





(d) for LH Side:
(1) Using a clip remover, remove the 3 wire harness clamps.
17. REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH RH

HINT: Follow the same procedures as for the front pillar garnish LH.

18. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL UNDER TRAY (for Pedal Type Parking Brake) (Removal)

19. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL HOLE COVER (for Lever Type Parking Brake) (Removal)

20. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE UPPER PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) for Automatic Transmission:
(1) Remove the rear console upper panel sub-assembly (Removal).
(b) for Manual Transmission:
(1) Remove the rear console upper panel sub-assembly (Removal).
21. REMOVE REAR CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY (Removal)

22. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL CUP HOLDER TRAY (for Automatic Transmission) (Removal)

23. REMOVE FRONT CONSOLE BOX
(a) for Automatic Transmission:
(1) Remove the front console box (Removal).
(b) for Manual Transmission:
(1) Remove the front console box (Removal).
24. REMOVE AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY (Removal)

25. REMOVE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (Removal)

26. SEPARATE HOOD LOCK CONTROL LEVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (Disassembly)

27. REMOVE INSTRUMENT LOWER PANEL FINISH PANEL (Removal)

28. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (Removal)

29. REMOVE COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY (Removal)

30. REMOVE INSTRUMENT CENTER CLUSTER FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (Removal)

31. REMOVE GLOVE COMPARTMENT DOOR ASSEMBLY (Removal)

32. REMOVE INSTRUMENT LOWER PANEL FINISH PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (Removal)

33. REMOVE INSTRUMENT LOWER PANEL (Removal)

34. REMOVE INSTRUMENT LOWER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (Removal)

35. REMOVE INSTRUMENT SIDE PANEL (Removal)

36. DISCONNECT PASSENGER AIRBAG CONNECTOR (Removal)

37. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL SUB-ASSEMBLY (Removal)

38. REMOVE BACK PANEL TRIM COVER





(a) Disengage the 6 claws and remove the back panel trim cover.





39. REMOVE REAR SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY

HINT: Follow the same procedures as for the opposite side.

(a) Disengage the claw and remove the buckle of the rear seat belt inner.
40. REMOVE BACK PANEL TRIM





(a) Disengage the 8 claws and 14 clips, and remove the back panel trim.
41. REMOVE QUARTER TRIM LOWER PANEL LH





(a) Remove the bolt and floor anchor of the rear seat belt outer.





(b) Disengage the claw and 2 clips, and remove the quarter trim lower panel.
42. REMOVE QUARTER TRIM LOWER PANEL RH

HINT: Follow the same procedures as for the quarter trim lower panel LH.

43. REMOVE ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH LH





(a) Disengage the 2 claws and clip, and remove the roof side inner garnish.
44. REMOVE ROOF SIDE INNER GARNISH RH

HINT: Follow the same procedures as for the roof side inner garnish LH.

45. REMOVE QUARTER INSIDE TRIM BOARD LH





(a) Using a screwdriver with its tip taped in protective tape, disengage the claw and open the cover.





(b) Remove the screw.
(c) Disengage the 3 clips and remove the quarter inside trim board.
46. REMOVE QUARTER INSIDE TRIM BOARD RH

HINT: Follow the same procedures as for the quarter inside trim board LH.

47. REMOVE ROOM LIGHT ASSEMBLY





(a) Using a screwdriver with its tip taped in protective tape, disengage the 2 claws and remove the room light lens.





(b) Using a screwdriver with its tip taped in protective tape, disengage the 2 claws.
(c) Disconnect the room light connector and remove the room light.
48. REMOVE ROOF CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY





(a) Remove the screw.
(b) Disengage the 2 clips and 3 claws.
(c) Disconnect the accessory meter connector and map lamp connector, and remove the roof console box.





(d) Using a clip remover, remove the wire harness clamp.
49. REMOVE VISOR ASSEMBLY LH





(a) Remove the 2 screws.
(b) Remove the visor from the visor holder.
50. REMOVE VISOR ASSEMBLY RH

HINT: Follow the same procedures as for the visor assembly LH.





51. REMOVE VISOR HOLDER

HINT: Follow the same procedures as for the opposite side.

(a) Turn the visor holder 90° counterclockwise and remove it.





52. REMOVE COAT HOOK

HINT: Follow the same procedures as for the opposite side.

(a) Turn the coat hook 90° counterclockwise and remove it.
53. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY





(a) Disconnect the frame wire connector.
(b) Disconnect the roof wire connector.
(c) Using a clip remover, remove the 2 wire harness clamps.





(d) Remove the roof headlining from the vehicle.
54. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING PAD





(a) Remove the 2 roof headlining pads from the roof headlining.
55. REMOVE ROOF WIRE





(a) w/ EC mirror:
(1) Remove the 10 adhesive tapes and roof wire.
(b) w/o EC mirror:
(1) Remove the 8 tapes and roof wire.
