Removal

2TR-FE COOLING: WATER PUMP:

REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
2. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY (for Pre Runner and 4WD Type)
(a) Remove the 4 bolts, then remove the engine under cover No. 1.
3. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT (Service and Repair)

4. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT TO FRAME SEAL LH (Removal)

5. REMOVE FAN SHROUD (Removal)

6. REMOVE GENERATOR ASSEMBLY (Service and Repair)

7. REMOVE V-RIBBED BELT TENSIONER ASSEMBLY





(a) Remove the 3 bolts, then remove the V-ribbed belt tensioner.
8. REMOVE WATER PUMP ASSEMBLY





(a) Remove the 10 bolts, then remove the water pump and gasket.
