DESCRIPTION

This circuit sends a sound signal from the television display to the navigation receiver.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TELEVISION DISPLAY - NAVIGATION RECEIVER)





(a) Disconnect the W2 display connector.
(b) Disconnect the K8 receiver connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK TELEVISION DISPLAY





(a) Reconnect the W2 display connector.
(b) Using an oscilloscope, check the waveform between each terminal and the body ground according to the conditions, as shown in the table below.

NG -- REPLACE TELEVISION DISPLAY
OK -- PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE
