SEAT: FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Power Seat):

DISASSEMBLY

CAUTION: Wear protective gloves. Sharp areas on the seat frame and adjuster may injure your hands.

HINT:
- Use the same procedures for the LH side and RH side.
- The procedures listed below are for the LH side.





1. REMOVE SLIDE AND VERTICAL POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB LH
(a) Apply protective tape around the cushion shield.
(b) Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the knob.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.





2. REMOVE RECLINING POWER SEAT SWITCH KNOB LH
(a) Using a screwdriver, detach the 2 claws and remove the knob.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH





(a) Remove the hog rings and rubber bands of the seatback cover from the seat frame.
(b) Remove the 2 screws.





(c) Remove the 3 screws.
(d) Detach the 2 claws and remove the cushion shield.
(e) Disconnect the switch connectors.





4. REMOVE FRONT POWER SEAT LUMBAR SWITCH LH (w/ Lumbar Support Adjuster)
(a) Remove the 2 screws and switch.





5. REMOVE LEG SUPPORT ADJUSTMENT SWITCH (w/ Leg Support Adjustment Switch)
(a) Detach the 2 wire harness clamps and remove the 2 screws and switch.
(b) Disconnect the switch connector.
6. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY LH (Removal)





7. REMOVE INNER FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH
(a) Remove the screw.
(b) Detach the 2 claws and clip, and then remove the cushion shield.





8. REMOVE FRONT POWER SEAT SWITCH LH
(a) Disconnect the 2 connectors.
(b) w/o Seat Position Memory System:
Disconnect the switch connector.
(c) Remove the 3 screws and switch.
9. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD LH





(a) Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.





(b) Disconnect the seat heater connector and detach the 2 wire harness clamps.





(c) Disconnect the seat heater control connector and detach the 2 wire harness clamps.





(d) Remove the hog rings and detach the hooks.





(e) Remove the seat cushion cover wire.
(f) Remove the seat cushion cover with pad from the seat frame.





(g) w/o Leg Support Adjustment Switch:
(1) Remove the hog rings.
(2) Bend the 2 seat frame claws upward.
(3) Detach the hooks and remove the seat cushion cover with pad.
10. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER LH
(a) Remove the hog rings and front seat cushion cover.









(b) w/o Leg Support Adjustment Switch:
Remove the hog rings and front seat cushion cover.





11. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION HEATER ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Seat Heater System)
(a) Cut off the tack pins which fasten the seat heater to the seat cushion cover, and then remove the seat cushion heater from the seat cushion cover.
12. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD LH





(a) Detach the hook.





(b) Remove the hog rings and seatback cover wires.





(c) Remove the nut and seatback cover bracket from the seat frame.





(d) Detach the 4 claws and remove the 2 headrest supports.





(e) Remove the hog rings and seatback cover with pad.
13. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER LH





(a) Remove the hog rings and seatback cover wires.





(b) Disconnect the seatback cover bracket from the seatback pad.





(c) Remove the hog rings and seatback cover from the seatback pad.





14. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK HEATER ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Seat Heater System)
(a) Cut off the tack pins which fasten the seat heater to the seatback cover, and then remove the seatback heater from the seatback cover.





15. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH
(a) Remove the screw and detach the claw, and then remove the reclining adjuster inside cover.
16. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH
(a) Remove the screw and detach the claw, and then remove the reclining adjuster inside cover.





17. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK SHIELD LH
(a) Remove the 2 screws.
(b) Detach the claw and remove the seatback shield.
18. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK SHIELD RH
(a) Remove the 2 screws.
(b) Detach the claw and remove the seatback shield.





19. REMOVE LOWER FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD LH
(a) Remove the screw.
(b) Detach the hook and remove the cushion shield.
20. REMOVE LOWER FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD RH
(a) Remove the screw.
(b) Detach the hook and remove the cushion shield.
21. REMOVE LUMBAR SUPPORT ADJUSTER ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Lumbar Support Adjuster)





(a) Remove the 2 springs.
(b) Detach the 6 hooks and remove the seatback spring.





(c) Disconnect the lumbar support adjuster connector.
(d) Remove the 2 screws and lumbar support adjuster.





(e) Detach the 3 claws and remove the bush from the seat frame.





22. REMOVE SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY LH (w/ Seat Heater System)
(a) Disconnect the seat heater control connector and detach the clamp.
(b) Using a screwdriver, detach the claw and remove the seat heater control.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.





23. REMOVE OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU (for Front Passenger Side)
(a) Disconnect the 2 ECU connectors.
(b) Using a screwdriver, detach the claw and remove the ECU.

HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use.

24. REMOVE SEAT POSITION AIRBAG SENSOR (Removal)

25. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE LH
