2UZ-FE LUBRICATION: OIL PRESSURE SWITCH:

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL OIL PRESSURE SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY





(a) Apply adhesive to 2 or 3 threads of the sender gauge.
Adhesive:
Toyota Genuine Adhesive 1344, Three Bond 1344 or equivalent

NOTE: Do not let adhesive adhere to the oil hole.





(b) Install the sender gauge.
Torque: 15 Nm (153 kgf-cm, 11 ft-lbf)

NOTE: Do not start the engine within 1 hour of installation.

(c) Connect the sender gauge connector.
2. INSPECT FOR OIL LEAK (Replacement)

3. CHECK ENGINE OIL LEVEL (Testing and Inspection)

4. INSTALL NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER (Replacement)

5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

NOTE: Some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected (Repair Instruction - Initialization).
