INSPECTION PROCEDURE

If DTC C2178/78 is output, inspect the battery and charging system for 1GR-FE (Testing and Inspection), 2UZ-FE (Testing and Inspection) or 3UR-FE (Testing and Inspection). If the battery and charging system are normal, perform the "ECU Power Source Circuit" inspection procedure (ECU Power Source Circuit).
