Microphone Circuit between Microphone and Radio Receiver
DESCRIPTION
This circuit sends a microphone signal from the microphone to the radio receiver.
It also supplies power from the radio receiver to the microphone.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE
1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TSW- - MGND)
(a) Disconnect the K9 receiver connector.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (MICROPHONE - RADIO RECEIVER)
(a) Disconnect the W7 microphone connector.
(b) Disconnect the K9 receiver connector.
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK RADIO RECEIVER (MCVD VOLTAGE)
(a) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage:
C -- REPLACE RADIO RECEIVER
B -- REPLACE RADIO RECEIVER
A -- Continue to next step.
4. REPLACE MICROPHONE WITH ANOTHER AND CHECK
(a) Replace the microphone with a normal one (Removal).
(b) Check if the same problem occurs again.
OK:
Malfunction disappears.
NG -- REPLACE ROOF CONSOLE BOX ASSEMBLY
OK -- END (MICROPHONE IS FAULTY)
