EXTERIOR: FENDER LINER (for Front Side): REMOVAL

REMOVAL

1. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY (for 2GR-FE) Removal
2. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER
3. REMOVE FRONT FENDER MOULDING SUB-ASSEMBLY LH Removal
4. REMOVE FRONT FENDER MOULDING SUB-ASSEMBLY RH
HINT: Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side.

5. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD (for LH Side)





(a) Remove the 2 screws and front wheel opening extension pad.
6. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL OPENING EXTENSION PAD (for RH Side)
HINT: Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

7. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER LH





(a) Remove the screw.
(b) Using a screwdriver, turn the pin 90 degrees and remove the pin hold clip.





(c) Using a 4 mm hexagon wrench, remove the 2 screws.
(d) Remove the 2 grommets.
HINT: The grommets need to be replaced with new ones because they will break when they are removed.





(e) Remove the 5 clips, 8 screws and front fender liner LH.
8. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER RH





(a) Remove the screw.
(b) Using a screwdriver, turn the pin 90 degrees and remove the pin hold clip.





(c) Using a 4 mm hexagon wrench, remove the 2 screws.
(d) Remove the 2 grommets.
HINT: The grommets need to be replaced with new ones because they will break when they are removed.





(e) Remove the 5 clips, 7 screws and front fender liner RH.
