Hazard Warning Switch: Testing and Inspection

LIGHTING: HAZARD WARNING SWITCH: INSPECTION

1. INSPECT INTEGRATION CONTROL AND PANEL ASSEMBLY (w/o Navigation System)

(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.





Standard resistance:





(b) If the result is not as specified, replace the integration control and panel assembly.

(c) Connect the (+) lead from the battery to terminal 6 and the (-) lead to terminal 7.

(d) Check that the illumination of the switch comes on.

OK:

The illumination comes on.

(e) If the result is not as specified, replace the integration control and panel assembly.

2. INSPECT NAVIGATION RECEIVER ASSEMBLY (w/ Navigation System)

(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.





Standard resistance:





(b) If the result is not as specified, replace the navigation receiver assembly.

(c) Connect the (+) lead from the battery to terminal 6 and the (-) lead to terminal 7.

(d) Check that the illumination of the switch comes on.

OK:

The illumination comes on.

(e) If the result is not as specified, replace the navigation receiver assembly.
