Pinout Values and Diagnostic Parameters





ENGINE IMMOBILISER: ENGINE IMMOBILISER SYSTEM: TERMINALS OF ECU

1. CHECK TRANSPONDER KEY AMPLIFIER

(a) Disconnect the E72 amplifier connector and measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.









If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

(b) Reconnect the E72 amplifier connector and measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





If the result is not as specified, the amplifier may have a malfunction.

(c) Inspect using an oscilloscope.

2. CHECK TRANSPONDER KEY ECU

(a) Disconnect the E79 ECU connector and measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.









If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

(b) Reconnect the E79 ECU connector and measure the resistance and voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





If the result is not as specified, the ECU may have a malfunction.

(c) Inspect using an oscilloscope.

3. CHECK ECM

(a) Disconnect the B49 ECM connector and measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.









If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

(b) Reconnect the B49 ECM connector. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.





If the result is not as specified, the ECM may have a malfunction.

(c) Inspect using an oscilloscope.
