P2532-772 - Ignition Switch Run Position Circuit High
DESCRIPTION
The hybrid vehicle control ECU monitors IGSW signals sent from the main body ECU and detects the following malfunction.
HINT
If DTC P2532-772 is stored, the vehicle will turn off.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
PROCEDURE
1. CLEAR DTC
(a) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
(b) Turn the ignition switch to ON.
(c) Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.
(d) Read and record the DTCs and freeze frame data.
(e) Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.
(f) Clear DTCs and freeze frame data.
NEXT -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (HV)
(a) Leave the vehicle for 15 seconds or more with the ignition switch ON after clearing DTCs.
HINT
Leaving the vehicle for 15 seconds or more is required to detect DTC U0140-146.
(b) Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.
(c) Check if DTCs are output.
Result:
(d) Turn the ignition switch off.

C -- GO TO DTC CHART Hybrid Control System
B -- GO TO DTC CHART (U0140-146) U0129-220
A -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK FUSE (ECU IG NO. 1)
(a) Remove the ECU IG NO. 1 fuse from the instrument panel junction block.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:

(c) Install the ECU IG NO. 1 fuse.
NG -- REPLACE FUSE (ECU IG NO. 1)
OK -- Continue to next step.
4. CHECK POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT (INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK)
(a) Disconnect connector 1A from the instrument panel junction block.
(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

(c) Connect the instrument panel junction block connector.
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK - AUXILIARY BATTERY)
OK -- Continue to next step.
5. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR
(a) Disconnect the 1A and 1F connectors from the instrument panel junction block.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

(c) Connect the instrument panel junction block connectors.
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- REPLACE INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY (MAIN BODY ECU)
6. CHECK DTC OUTPUT (HV)
(a) Turn the ignition switch off.
(b) Leave the vehicle for 1.5 seconds or more.
HINT
Leaving the vehicle for 1.5 seconds or more is required to detect DTC P2532-772.
(c) Turn the ignition switch to ON.
(d) Enter the following menus: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / Trouble Codes.
(e) Check if DTCs are output.

7. CHECK HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU
(a) Turn the ignition switch off.
(b) Disconnect connector A66 from the hybrid vehicle control ECU.
(c) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

(d) Connect the hybrid vehicle control ECU connector.

8. CHECK RELAY (IG2)
(a) Remove the IG2 relay from the engine room relay block.

(b) Disconnect connector A66 from the hybrid vehicle control ECU.
(c) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

(d) Install the IG2 relay.
(e) Connect the hybrid vehicle control ECU connector.

9. CHECK RELAY (IG2)
(a) Remove the IG2 relay from the engine room relay block.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

(c) Install the IG2 relay.

B -- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (IGNITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY - IG2 RELAY)

10. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK - IG2 RELAY)
(a) Disconnect connector D7 from the instrument panel junction block.

(c) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

(c) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
