Theft Deterrent System (w/ Smart Key System)

THEFT DETERRENT: THEFT DETERRENT SYSTEM (w/ Smart Key System): TERMINALS OF ECU

1. CHECK MAIN BODY ECU (INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK)

(a) Disconnect the main body ECU (instrument panel junction block) connectors.





(b) Measure the resistance and voltage between each terminal of the wire harness side connectors and body ground.

* *1: w/ Glass Hatch Opener System
* If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

(c) Reconnect the main body ECU (instrument panel junction block) connectors.

(d) Measure the voltage between each terminal of the wire harness side connectors and body ground.





If the result is not as specified, the main body ECU (instrument panel junction block) may have a malfunction.

2. CHECK CERTIFICATION ECU (SMART KEY ECU ASSEMBLY)

(a) Disconnect the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connectors.









If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction on the wire harness side.

(b) Reconnect the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) connectors.

(c) Measure the voltage of the connector.





If the result is not as specified, the certification ECU (smart key ECU assembly) may have a malfunction.
