Disassembly

SEAT: FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY (for Manual Seat): DISASSEMBLY

1. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER RELEASE HANDLE

(a) Using a screwdriver wrapped with protective tape, disengage the claw and remove the reclining adjuster release handle.





2. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION SHIELD

(a) Disengage the hooks.





(b) Remove the 2 screws.





(c) Disengage the claw.

(d) Disengage the 2 guides and remove the front seat cushion shield.

3. REMOVE FRONT SEAT INNER BELT ASSEMBLY Removal

4. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION INNER SHIELD

(a) Remove the screw.





(b) Disengage the claw.

(c) Separate the guide and remove the front seat cushion inner shield as shown in the illustration.





5. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER WITH PAD

(a) Disengage the clamp.









(b) w/ Seat Heater System:

(1) Disconnect the 2 seat heater connectors.

(2) Disengage the 2 clamps.

(c) Bend the 2 seat frame claws upward.

(d) Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips.

(e) Disengage the hooks and remove the front seat cushion cover with pad as shown in the illustration.





6. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEAT CUSHION COVER

(a) Remove the 17 hog rings and separate type front seat cushion cover.





7. REMOVE FRONT SEATBACK COVER WITH PAD

(a) Remove the 3 hog rings.





(b) Remove the 2 hog rings.









(c) Open the 2 fasteners, and then open the seatback cover.

(d) Disengage the 2 hooks.





(e) Remove the nut and disengage the hook, and then separate the seatback cover bracket.





(f) Disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 front seat headrest supports.









(g) w/ Seat Heater System:

Disengage the clamp.

(h) Remove the separate type front seatback cover with pad from the front seat frame assembly with adjuster.

8. REMOVE SEPARATE TYPE FRONT SEATBACK COVER





(a) Separate the seatback cover bracket from the seatback pad.

(b) Remove the 11 hog rings and the separate type front seatback cover.





9. REMOVE ACTIVE HEADREST UPPER UNIT

(a) Remove the nut and disconnect the cable from the active headrest upper unit as shown in the illustration.





(b) Remove the 4 nuts and the active headrest upper unit.

10. REMOVE ACTIVE HEADREST LOWER UNIT





(a) Remove the cable clamp.

(b) Remove the 2 nuts and the active headrest lower unit.

11. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH





(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Disengage the guide and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

12. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER LH





(a) Remove the screw and reclining adjuster inside cover LH.

13. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH





(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Disengage the clamp.

(c) Disengage the guide and remove the reclining adjuster inside cover RH.

14. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER INSIDE COVER RH





(a) Remove the screw and reclining adjuster inside cover RH.

15. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD LH





(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Disengage the claw and remove the front seat lower cushion shield LH as shown in the illustration.

16. REMOVE FRONT SEAT LOWER CUSHION SHIELD RH





(a) Remove the screw.

(b) Disengage the claw and the guide, and remove the front seat lower cushion shield RH as shown in the illustration.

17. REMOVE FRONT SEAT AIRBAG ASSEMBLY Removal

18. REMOVE SEAT HEATER CONTROL SUB-ASSEMBLY (w/ Seat Heater System)





(a) Disconnect the connector.

(b) Disengage the 2 clamps and remove the seat heater control sub-assembly.

19. REMOVE OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION ECU Removal

20. REMOVE SEAT ADJUSTER COVER CAP





(a) Remove the 2 seat adjuster cover caps from the front seat frame assembly with adjuster.

21. REMOVE FRONT SEAT CUSHION EDGE PROTECTOR





(a) Remove the 2 seat cushion edge protectors from the front seat frame assembly with adjuster.

22. REMOVE FRONT SEAT WIRE RH





(a) Disconnect the 4 connectors.

(b) Disengage the clamps and remove the front seat wire RH.
