DESCRIPTION
With the engine switch off and the driver door closed, press the transmitter lock or unlock switch while holding a seat memory switch (seat memory switch 1, seat memory switch 2 or seat memory switch 3). Doing so will register the transmitter recognition code into the seat memory switch that was pressed. After the registration is complete, the answer-back buzzer sounds.

1. CHECK WIRELESS DOOR LOCK CONTROL FUNCTIONS
(a) Using the standard operation procedure, check that the wireless door lock/unlock operates normally.
OK:
Wireless door lock/unlock operates normally.
HINT
The standard operating procedure is as follows:
Hold the transmitter approximately 1 m (3.28 ft.) from the driver door outside handle. Press and hold the transmitter lock or unlock switch for 1 second.

2. CHECK POWER DOOR LOCK CONTROL FUNCTION
(a) Using the standard operation procedure, check that the power door lock/unlock operates normally.
OK:

OK -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK SEAT MEMORY SWITCH FUNCTION (SEAT POSITION MEMORY FUNCTION)
(a) Perform a memory operation properly. Check that the buzzer sounds to indicate the completion of the memory operation.
NOTICE:
* The seat position will not be recorded if the seat memory SET switch and 2 or more of the seat memory switches (for example, seat memory switch 1 and seat memory switch 2) are pressed simultaneously.
* If a memorizing operation has failed, release all switches. The seat memory function does not operate unless the switches are released.
OK:
Seat memory switch function operates normally.

4. CHECK MEMORY CALL FUNCTION (REGISTER RECOGNITION CODE)
(a) While pressing seat memory switch 1, seat memory switch 2 or seat memory switch 3 switch, press the transmitter lock or unlock switch. Then check that the buzzer sounds normally.
OK:
Buzzer sounds normally.
