C1792 - Height Control Switch Circuit (Test Mode DTC)

DESCRIPTION

Vehicle height can be chosen by pressing the height control switch.

By pressing the "UP" side, vehicle height goes up.

By pressing the "DOWN" side, vehicle height goes down.





HINT
This DTC is output only when the sensor signal check is done.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

PROCEDURE

1. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM (HEIGHT CONTROL SWITCH)

(a) Turn the ignition switch off.

(b) Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.

(c) Turn the ignition switch to ON, and turn the Techstream main switch on.

(d) Enter the following menus: Chassis / Air suspension / Data List.

(e) Check that the value displayed on the Techstream changes by pressing the height control switch "UP" or "DOWN".

OK:

Height control switch value changes.

2. INSPECT HEIGHT CONTROL SWITCH

(a) Turn the ignition switch off.

(b) Remove the height control switch.





(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPLACE HEIGHT CONTROL SWITCH
OK -- Continue to next step.

3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HEIGHT CONTROL SWITCH - ECU AND BODY GROUND)

(a) Disconnect the O17 ECU connector.





(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:





NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK -- REPLACE SUSPENSION CONTROL ECU Removal
