PARKING BRAKE: PARKING BRAKE SWITCH: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE INSTRUMENT PANEL JUNCTION BLOCK ASSEMBLY

Removal

2. REMOVE 4WD ECU ASSEMBLY (for AWD) Removal

3. SEPARATE PARKING BRAKE CONTROL PEDAL ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the parking brake switch connector.





(b) Separate the clip and hood lock control cable from the parking brake control pedal assembly.





(c) Remove the 3 nuts and separate the parking brake pedal assembly from the body.





4. REMOVE PARKING BRAKE SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the screw and parking brake switch assembly from the parking brake control pedal assembly.
