2GR-FE STARTING: STARTER: INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL STARTER ASSEMBLY

(a) Install the starter assembly with the 2 bolts.

Torque : 37 Nm (377 kgf-cm, 27 ft-lbf)

(b) Connect the starter connector.

(c) Connect the terminal 30 with the nut.

Torque : 9.8 Nm (100 kgf-cm, 87 in-lbf)

(d) Close the terminal cap.

2. INSTALL AIR CLEANER AND HOSE Installation

3. INSTALL BATTERY Installation

4. INSTALL AIR CLEANER INLET COVER ASSEMBLY SEAL Installation

5. CONNECT CABLE TO NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

Torque : 5.4 Nm (55 kgf-cm, 48 in-lbf)

NOTICE:
When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected Repair Instruction - Initialization
