Removal

DOOR / HATCH: SLIDE DOOR HALF OPEN STOPPER CONTROL ASSEMBLY: REMOVAL

1. SEPARATE BACK DOOR WEATHERSTRIP

2. REMOVE BACK DOOR SCUFF PLATE Removal

3. SEPARATE REAR NO. 2 SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY LH Removal

4. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH

HINT
Use the same procedure as for the RH side Removal.

5. SEPARATE SLIDE DOOR WEATHERSTRIP LH

6. REMOVE QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY LH Removal

7. REMOVE SLIDE DOOR HALF OPEN STOPPER COVER

(a) Disengage the 2 clips and remove the slide door half open stopper cover.

8. REMOVE SLIDE DOOR HALF OPEN STOPPER SUB-ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the slide door half open control cable.

(b) Remove the 2 bolts and slide door half open stopper.

9. REMOVE SLIDE DOOR HALF OPEN STOPPER CONTROL ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the clamps as shown in the illustration.

(b) Disconnect the connector and disengage the clamp.

HINT
If the vehicle is equipped with power slide door system, disconnect the connector and disengage the clamp.

10. REMOVE FUEL LID COURTESY SWITCH (w/ Power Slide Door)

(a) Remove the 2 screws and fuel lid courtesy switch from slide door half open stopper control.
