1. INSPECT INTAKE AIR CONTROL VALVE (for Intake Air Control System)

(a) Inspect actuator operation.

(1) Remove the air cleaner inlet assembly Removal.

(2) Using a vacuum pump, with 27 kPa (203 mmHg, 7.97 in. Hg) of vacuum applied to the actuator, check that the actuator rod moves.

(3) One minute after applying the vacuum, check that the actuator rod does not return.

If the operation is not as specified, replace the air cleaner case sub-assembly.

(4) Install the air cleaner inlet assembly Installation.
