DESCRIPTION
Connecting terminals TC and CG of the DLC3 causes the ECU to display the DTC by blinking the ABS warning light.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
NOTICE:
* When replacing the brake actuator assembly, perform zero point calibration Vehicle Stability Control System (for Vacuum Brake Booster).
* for 1GR-FE:
If the ECM has been replaced, it is necessary to register the ECU Programming and Relearning.
* for 2TR-FE:
If the ECM has been replaced, it is necessary to register the ECU Programming and Relearning.
PROCEDURE
1. INSPECT DLC3 (TC AND CG TERMINAL)
(a) Turn the ignition switch to ON.
(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard voltage:
(c) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
NG -- CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DLC3 - ECM)
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
(a) Check if the CAN communication DTC is output Diagnosis System.
Result
B -- GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM How to Proceed With Troubleshooting
A -- Continue to next step.
3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DLC3 - ECM)
(a) Disconnect the ECM connector.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance (1GR-FE):
Standard resistance (2TR-FE):
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DLC3 - BODY GROUND)
(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
5. INSPECT ECM (DLC3 INPUT)
(a) Using SST, connect terminals 13 (TC) and 4 (CG) of the DLC3.
SST : 09843-18040
(b) Check if the ABS warning light is blinking.
Result
