SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM: CURTAIN SHIELD AIRBAG ASSEMBLY (for Regular Cab): REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

CAUTION:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to disable the SRS system.

2. REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove roof headlining assembly Removal.

3. REMOVE CURTAIN SHIELD AIRBAG ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the connector.

NOTICE:
When handling the airbag connector, take care not to damage the airbag wire harness.

(b) Remove the 8 bolts, and disengage the 5 claws and remove the curtain shield airbag assembly in the order show in the illustration.
