SEAT BELT: FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY (for Regular Cab): REMOVAL

CAUTION:
Some of these service operations affect the SRS airbag system. Read the precautionary notices concerning the SRS airbag system before servicing Service Precautions.

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

Wait for at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable to prevent the airbag from working.

2. REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE Removal

3. REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP

(a) Separate the front door opening trim weatherstrip to the extent which allows the removal of the quarter trim lower panel and quarter inside trim board.

4. REMOVE BACK PANEL TRIM COVER Removal

5. REMOVE BACK PANEL UPPER GARNISH Removal

6. REMOVE JACK ASSEMBLY (for Separate Seat Type)

7. REMOVE BACK PANEL TRIM COVER (for Separate Seat Type) Removal

8. REMOVE BACK PANEL TRIM (for Separate Seat Type) Removal

9. REMOVE QUARTER TRIM LOWER PANEL Removal

10. REMOVE QUARTER INSIDE TRIM BOARD Removal

11. REMOVE FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the bolt and shoulder anchor.

(b) Disconnect the pretensioner connector as shown in the illustration.

(b) Disengage the 2 claws and remove the front shoulder belt anchor adjuster.
