Removal

3UR-FE LUBRICATION: ENGINE OIL COOLER: REMOVAL

1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL

2. DRAIN ENGINE OIL Replacement

3. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair

4. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER Replacement

5. REMOVE FAN & GENERATOR V BELT Removal

6. REMOVE OIL FILTER ELEMENT Replacement

7. REMOVE OIL PRESSURE SENDER GAUGE ASSEMBLY Removal

8. DISCONNECT COOLER COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY Removal

9. REMOVE NO. 2 WATER BY-PASS PIPE





Remove the 3 bolts.

(a) Remove the 4 hoses and water by-pass pipe.

10. REMOVE NO. 1 OIL COOLER BRACKET





Remove the 2 nuts and bracket.

(a) Disconnect the ground wire from the cylinder block.

11. REMOVE OIL FILTER BRACKET





Remove the 2 bolts, 2 nuts and filter bracket.





Remove the 2 O-rings.

12. REMOVE OIL COOLER ASSEMBLY





Remove the 5 nuts and oil cooler from the oil filter bracket.





Remove the 2 O-rings.

13. REMOVE OIL COOLER SPACER





Remove the bolt and oil cooler spacer from the oil filter bracket.





Remove the gasket.
