ENGINE IMMOBILISER: TRANSPONDER KEY AMPLIFIER: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE LOWER STEERING COLUMN COVER





While turning the steering wheel to the right and left, remove the 2 screws.

(a) Detach the 2 claws and remove the lower steering column cover.

2. REMOVE TRANSPONDER KEY AMPLIFIER





Using a screwdriver, widen the claws attached to the upper bracket by approximately 1 mm (0.0394 in.).

(a) Pull out the transponder key amplifier with the claws open.
