Removal

1GR-FE INTAKE / EXHAUST: EXHAUST MANIFOLD: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL Removal

2. REMOVE V-BANK COVER Removal

3. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP AND HOSE Removal

4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CASE SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

5. REMOVE FRONT FENDER APRON SEAL LH





(a) w/ KDSS:

Remove the 7 clips and fender apron seal.





(b) w/o KDSS:

Remove the 5 clips and fender apron seal.

6. REMOVE FRONT FENDER APRON SEAL RH





(a) Remove the 4 clips and fender apron seal.

7. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 FENDER APRON TO FRAME SEAL LH





(a) Remove the 5 clips and frame seal.

8. REMOVE FRONT NO. 1 FENDER APRON TO FRAME SEAL RH





(a) Remove the 5 clips and fender apron seal.

9. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the front exhaust pipe Removal.

10. REMOVE MANIFOLD STAY





(a) Remove the 3 bolts and manifold stay.

11. REMOVE NO. 1 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR





(a) Remove the 3 bolts and heat insulator.

12. REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

(a) Disconnect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.





(b) Remove the 6 nuts, manifold and gasket.

13. REMOVE AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR (for Bank 1 Sensor 1) Removal

14. REMOVE NO. 2 MANIFOLD STAY





(a) Remove the 3 bolts and No. 2 manifold stay.

15. REMOVE NO. 2 EXHAUST MANIFOLD HEAT INSULATOR





(a) Remove the 3 bolts and heat insulator.

16. REMOVE EXHAUST MANIFOLD SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

(a) Disconnect the air fuel ratio sensor connector.





(b) Remove the 6 nuts, manifold and gasket.

17. REMOVE AIR FUEL RATIO SENSOR (for Bank 2 Sensor 1) Removal
