Removal

1GR-FE INTAKE / EXHAUST: EXHAUST PIPE: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE REAR ENGINE UNDER COVER ASSEMBLY Removal

2. REMOVE REAR QUARTER PANEL MUDGUARD RH (for X-Runner)

(a) Remove the 4 clips, 4 screws and rear quarter panel mudguard.

3. REMOVE REAR QUARTER PANEL MUDGUARD RH

(a) Remove the 3 clips, 5 screws and rear quarter panel mudguard.

4. REMOVE REAR BUMPER SIDE BRACKET RH

(a) for X-Runner:

(1) Remove the clip and 3 screws.





(2) Detach the guide and remove the rear bumper side bracket.

(1) Remove the clip and 3 screws.

5. REMOVE TAILPIPE ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and disconnect the tailpipe from the exhaust pipe support.

(b) Remove the gasket and exhaust pipe support.

6. REMOVE CENTER EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and 2 compression springs, and then disconnect the center exhaust pipe from the 3 exhaust pipe supports.

(b) Remove the gasket.

7. REMOVE FRONT EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector.

(b) Remove the 2 nuts and front exhaust pipe.

(c) Remove the gasket.

8. REMOVE EXHAUST PIPE STOPPER BRACKET

(a) Remove the 2 bolts and stopper bracket.

9. REMOVE FRONT NO. 2 EXHAUST PIPE ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector.

(b) Remove the 2 nuts and front exhaust pipe.

(c) Remove the gasket.

10. REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 1 Sensor 2) Removal

11. REMOVE HEATED OXYGEN SENSOR (for Bank 2 Sensor 2) Removal
