Removal

1GR-FE ENGINE CONTROL: THROTTLE BODY: REMOVAL

1. REMOVE UPPER RADIATOR SUPPORT SEAL Removal

2. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER LOWER Removal

3. REMOVE NO. 1 ENGINE UNDER COVER SUB-ASSEMBLY Removal

4. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT Service and Repair

5. REMOVE V-BANK COVER Removal

6. REMOVE NO. 1 AIR CLEANER HOSE Removal

7. REMOVE THROTTLE BODY WITH MOTOR ASSEMBLY

(a) Disconnect the No. 5 water by-pass hose.





(b) Disconnect the No. 4 water by-pass hose.





(c) Disconnect the throttle position sensor and throttle control motor connector.





(d) Remove the 4 bolts, throttle body with motor and gasket.
