DESCRIPTION
This circuit sends the voice signal from the telephone microphone assembly to the radio receiver assembly.
It also supplies power source from the radio receiver assembly to the telephone microphone assembly.

PROCEDURE
1. INSPECT RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY
(a) Disconnect the radio receiver assembly connector.
(b) Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

NG -- REPLACE RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.
2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (TELEPHONE MICROPHONE ASSEMBLY - RADIO RECEIVER ASSEMBLY)
(a) Disconnect the telephone microphone assembly and radio receiver assembly connectors.
(b) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance:
NG -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK -- Continue to next step.
3. INSPECT TELEPHONE MICROPHONE ASSEMBLY
(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

NG -- REPLACE TELEPHONE MICROPHONE ASSEMBLY Removal
OK -- Continue to next step.
4. REPLACE TELEPHONE MICROPHONE ASSEMBLY
(a) Check that the malfunction disappears when a known good telephone microphone assembly is installed Removal.
OK:
Malfunction disappears.
